Born in Osaka (Japan) in 1973 graphic designer Mori Chack created this most unlikely of cuddly animal characters when he was asked to come up with a cute bear - "I felt that the real bear wasn't like that. Then, I draw secretly a violent bear with same method of drawing as that cute bear. That was Gloomy. For me, he seems very natural, and livelier than other general bear characters which are tamed by human beings".
What's more shocking than just a wild bear is the fact that a lot of times he's shown attacking the little boy - Pitty - who rescued him when he was young. The blood you see on Gloomy Bear is there from literally scratching and biting the hand that feeds him.
Our collection of Gloomy Bear goodies currently includes: Gloomy Bear figure Collection Volumne 2 (approximate box size: 65mm x 60mm x65mm) Gloomy Bear Puran Puran Keycahin Volumne 1.5 (approximate box size: 65mm x 35mm x 65mm)
Please note: The boxes of each of the following goodies (unless otherwise specified) have been carefully opened to identify the contents only. Please also note that none of the following goodies are designed to be 'played with' as they are classed as 'collectables' and not toys which, due to small parts, each of the following goodies may cause a choking hazard if swallowed.
