They might look cute but as anyone who's seen the sucessful web cartoon series of Happy Tree Friends will tell you, looks can be deceptive.
Taking the Itchy and Scratchy influence and running with it (probably into a sharp point) HTF puts its 'funny animals' through enough extreme violence that becoming an internet cult was probably a foregone conclusion.
These aren't just tree friend minifigs, though, they're tree friend Trexis. Trexi's are a little like Qees in that they're a standard shape that can be customised by different artists in a gazillion different ways. If you're a Qee fan you'll see a lot of familiar faces designing Trexis. |
